PPA - Clinical Services

 

Our Clinic:

Services available at PPA are conducted at our Oak Brook-based clinic by Clinical Psychologists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers who have specialties in clinical psychology, child and adolescent development, family psychology, and healthy parenting. Our diverse clinical staff offers a wide range of professional expertise, which allows us to evaluate and treat a vast range of populations and local communities with the aim of providing the very best in clinical care.

 

 

Our Goals:

—To enhance the emotional functioning, self-care, and well-being of children and adolescents by strengthening their self-awareness, emotional resilience, self-esteem, and capacity to make healthy, constructive choices;
—To improve the social functioning of clients by fostering their capacity to be involved in positive relationships and supportive social networks;
—To enhance family functioning by providing support, guidance, and education to parents;
—To enhance the quality of care children and adolescents receive by effectively collaborating with teachers, schools, pediatricians, hospitals, and communities;
—To provide accurate assessments of children’s cognitive, developmental, emotional, and academic functioning, including comprehensive recommendations for parents, schools, and other allied health professionals.

Clinical Services:

At our Oak Brook-based clinic, our professional staff provides comprehensive clinical care, including:

• Individual psychotherapy
• Play therapy
• Group therapy
• Psychological testing and assessment
• Neuropsychological evaluations
• Specialized treatment of Eating Disorders
• Parenting Guidance and Workshops
• Collaboration with pediatricians, school staff, and other allied health professionals

Clinical services are provided by the clinical staff at Pediatric Psychology Associates help resolve concerns related to:

PPA also offers an array of services for adults, including individual therapy, couples therapy, family treatment, and psychological or neuropsychological evaluation services.
